    • ½ cup all-purpose flour

    US Customary - Metric

    Instructions

    • Preheat the air fryer by running it at 330 °Ffor 5 minutes.
    • Pour flour, salt and pepper in a resealable plastic bag and close it tightly. Shake to mix.
½ cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon fine table salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
    • Add the chicken pieces to the bag and seal it tightly. Shake the bag until the chicken is evenly coated with flour.
      1 lb chicken breasts
    • Prepare your batter station. First, beat the eggs in a shallow bowl. Next to the eggs, place a shallow bowl or plate with the breadcrumbs. Mix in the olive oil with the breadcrumbs.
4 eggs, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 4 tablespoon olive oil
    • One at a time, dip each floured piece of chicken into the egg and then into the breadcrumb mixture until it is well-coated.
    • Spread out the nuggets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are in a single layer and there is space for the air to circulate around them. Set the temperature to 330 °F and cook for 10 minutes.
    • After 10 minutes, use tongs to turn the nuggets over. Then set the temperature to 390 °F and cook for another 5 minutes or until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through.

    • Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
    • Freezing: Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 months, and then cook them from frozen.
    • Reheating: Reheat leftovers in the air fryer, air fry 3-5 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
