    Notes

    What to Do with Leftovers

Wings are best eaten straight away, but it is also possible to store them for later.
    • Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 4 days.
    • Freezing: Store leftovers in air tight containers for up to 3 months.
    • Reheating: Reheat leftover wings in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 360°F (180°C), until heated through.
    • Reheat from frozen: You don't need to thaw frozen wings, just cook them straight from frozen. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, until well heated throughout.

How to Prep Wings Ahead of Time

You can marinate the wings up to 24 hours before you want to serve them. Marinate covered in the fridge, and bring them out to room temperature 30 minutes before cooking. Cook according to instructions, and enjoy!

Tips for the Best Chicken Wings

    • For maximum flavor, marinate overnight or at least for a few hours. Keep in mind this will make them spicier, so if you're worried about them becoming too spicy, reduce the amount of sriracha sauce.
    • For a less sweet version, skip the honey. It balances the spice really well, but not everyone likes the sweet touch. You can also just reduce the amount.
    • To make the wings spicier, add 1-2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper. If it's still not spicy enough for you, puree your spice mix with one whole serrano chili pepper and a few whole jalapeno peppers.
    • If using solid honey, microwave it for 15-30 seconds first. This will make it more liquid, and easier to mix with the rest of the ingredients.
