    Air Fryer Jacket Potato Tips

    1. Experiment with different types of potatoes: While Russet potatoes are the go-to choice for jacket potatoes, don't be afraid to try other varieties such as Yukon Gold or sweet potatoes. Each type will bring a unique flavour and texture to your dish.
    2. Don't overcrowd your air fryer: Make sure there is enough space between each potato in the air fryer basket for proper airflow. Overcrowding can result in unevenly cooked potatoes.
    3. Season well: Rub a little bit of oil (olive oil or vegetable oil works well) all over the potato and then season generously with salt. This step not only adds flavour but also gives the potato its characteristic crispy skin.
    4. Experiment with different toppings and fillings: While traditional jacket potatoes are usually topped with butter, cheese and sour cream, don't be afraid to experiment with other toppings and fillings such as bacon, chilli or even pulled pork.

8 minutes in the microwave then 8 minutes in the air fryer worked for me.
There was no need to cut the potato in half before cooking and no need to rub it in oil or season it
